Jul 24, 2022 · Camp Fimfo, a “glamping” resort, opened its doors on July 15. The Waco location, on the Bosque River next to McLennan Community College and Hawaiian Falls, offers an alternative to Camp Fimfo is a brand new (still under construction) resort that is a diamond in the making. The main attraction is the water park which is loaded with slides and an interactive water playground. The large pool with the (soon to be open) swim up bar was a great way to spend the hot afternoons lounging.

Camp Fimfo is the newest resort-style camping facility from Northgate Resorts, which is known for operating its 19 camp-resorts across the country. Let your next camping trip be at Camp Fimfo. Be sure to bring your binoculars. The local mystery creature Squirrely has been known to leave hidden messages around the camp-resort.

We found about Camp Fimfo from a neighbor. We originally booked for two nights but enjoyed ourselves enough to extend an additional two nights. The recreational areas are exceptional; much nicer than anything we have found at other similar campgrounds.
