I spoke to all three Arizona dealers recently and all three indicated that Spyder and GT4 production is done. Interestingly after being told that there is a 1 to 2 year wait on an allocation for any Carrera I was contacted last week that I could have an allocation that I could order to my spec for a base Carrera or an S, which I thought was interesting.I did a comparison. Base Cayman to GT4 $32k ---- Base 911 to GT3 $46k = $14k Could you add these options to a GT4 for $14k? GT3 engine, high performance PDK and all wheel steering. Anyone else seeing or hearing anything official or via reliable sources that there are no more GT4 or Spyder allocations moving forward? I might have the chance at an allocation, but at a substantial premium, trying to decide if its not only the car I want to own and drive (vs. GTS 4.0), but also invest that type of money in and what future valuation might be like.
