With Chamberlain, I don't really have worry about this as much. I'll still be able to get it, just complete prereqs as I go. Also, a lot of other programs have time limits on their prerequisites. A lot of mine are now "expired," and I would need to go back to retake those. Again, with Chamberlain, there are no time limits. Passing used to be 77, now it’s 80. The logic is: Students who fall between 77-79.9 are the ones who typically won’t pass the NCLEX on the first pass. This will bring down the overall 1st pass rate, which is a factor on how a school is ranked. It’s just a way of cooking the books. All you need to worry about is doing the best you can. As it should.
