Good point, although on my 18 if I engage the window lockout switch I can still operate the front passenger window from the driver's master control. I found that by accident, thought it was weird, but confirmed in the manual.

The local Subaru dealership took a look at it and indicated that the issue was due to the window tinting, recommended lubrication. For about two days, it worked occasionally from the passenger switch but without auto up or auto down functions. Then it quit working completely, in the up position. I have checked all the fuses dealing with power windows.

If if fiddle with it for a while I can get it back up. I tried the procedures from the manual and also talked about in the sticky with no change.Hello. Ok try a capacitive discharge, make sure the key is off and disconnect both battery cables, then touch both cables together for about 10 seconds. This completely drains all the capacitors in the car and it's just a more effective way disconnecting the battery.
