However, ever since I started again, my sound in game only lasts a few minutes and then cuts out and never comes back no matter what I do. My partner is having an issue where he will get lag spikes and at the same time the audio will cut out. When this would happen Discord would pop up saying a new audio device was detected (xbox controller - that he uses to play the game).
